Day-to-Day Responsibilities

We are seeking a confident Bar/Restaurant Waiter/Waitress to deliver memorable experiences through warm welcomes, inspired recommendations, and seamless service from starter to dessert and beyond. Your daily tasks will include:

1. Taking food and beverage orders and delivering food promptly.
2. Providing immediate attention to guests upon seating.
3. Preparing tables with linens, silverware, and glasses.
4. Upselling additional products when appropriate.
5. Ensuring guests receive full attention and the best care.
6. Staying informed about sales programs, promotions, and menu changes.
7. Maintaining good communication with bar staff and adhering to service standards, checklists, and billing procedures.
8. Performing special duties as assigned by the restaurant manager.
9. Adhering to local food hygiene and HACCP guidelines.

Requirements

Candidates should have:

• The ability to lift, push, and pull objects up to 50 lbs (23 kg), including bending and kneeling.
• Good reading, writing, and basic math skills.
• Flexibility to work nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Compliance with local laws regarding food handling and alcohol service, including fluency in the local language and minimum age requirements.
• Excellent communication skills, being warm, welcoming, and approachable.
• Experience in creating memorable guest experiences, acknowledging loyalty program members, managing bookings, and ensuring smooth check-in/out processes.
• Ability to anticipate guest needs and provide tailored recommendations.
• Trustworthiness in handling bills and resolving issues.
• Language Proficiency: Effective communication with Russian-speaking guests to enhance their experience.
