Qualifications

Day-to-Day Responsibilities
  1. Answering Calls: Professionally and courteously answer incoming room service calls, promptly addressing guest inquiries, requests, and concerns. Maintain a high level of telephone etiquette.
  2. Order Management: Accurately take room service orders, confirming details such as menu items, requests, and delivery preferences. Relay orders promptly to the kitchen or relevant teams.
  3. Call Transfers: Transfer calls effectively to appropriate departments or individuals, ensuring accurate communication and record-keeping.
  4. Menu Knowledge: Be familiar with the room service menu, ingredients, preparation times, and promotions to provide accurate recommendations and answer inquiries.
  5. Guest Assistance: Assist guests with inquiries about room service, hotel amenities, and dietary or service requests.
  6. Follow-Up: Follow up with guests to confirm satisfaction with orders and address additional needs.
  7. Delivery of Food: Coordinate and participate in delivering food and beverages to guest rooms, ensuring promptness and presentation standards.
  8. Mise en Place: Assist in setting up and maintaining the mise en place for room service operations, organizing trays, cutlery, napkins, and condiments.
Minimum Requirements
Educational Qualifications:Bachelor’s Degree in Hospitality, Business Administration, or related field.
Experience:8 to 12 years in hospitality industry.
Skills & Competencies:Excellent communication, organization, customer orientation, teamwork, multitasking, creativity, analytical focus, logical reasoning.
Additional Qualifications:Certification in supply chain management or similar.
Languages:Fluent English.
Software Proficiency:Hotel reservations software.
Travel & Location:Willingness to work on Dubai's World Islands, Dubai; very essential.
