Day-to-Day Responsibilities
  1. Answering Calls: Professionally and courteously answer incoming room service calls, addressing guest inquiries, requests, and concerns promptly while maintaining high telephone etiquette.
  2. Order Management: Accurately take room service orders, confirming details such as menu items, special requests, and delivery preferences, and relay them promptly to the kitchen or relevant teams.
  3. Call Transfers: Effectively transfer calls to appropriate departments or individuals, ensuring accurate communication and record-keeping.
  4. Menu Knowledge: Maintain thorough knowledge of the room service menu, including ingredients, preparation times, and promotions, to provide accurate recommendations and answer inquiries.
  5. Guest Assistance: Assist guests with general inquiries about room service, hotel amenities, and specific dietary or service requests.
  6. Follow-Up: Follow up with guests to confirm satisfaction with orders and address additional needs.
  7. Delivery of Food: Coordinate and participate in delivering food and beverages to guest rooms, ensuring promptness, accuracy, and presentation standards.
  8. Mise en Place: Assist in setting up and maintaining the necessary items for room service operations, such as trays, cutlery, napkins, and condiments.
