Day-to-Day Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with the Chief Engineer to plan, schedule, and oversee routine maintenance and repair tasks for the property's mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems.
  • Assist in identifying and addressing equipment malfunctions or safety hazards promptly to prevent disruptions to guest services.
  • Receive, log, and prioritize engineering work orders and service requests from various departments and guests.
  • Maintain an up-to-date inventory of spare parts, tools, and equipment needed for repairs and maintenance.
  • Coordinate with the procurement team to order necessary supplies and track inventory levels to avoid stockouts.
  • Ensure the engineering department complies with all safety regulations and standards, including fire safety, electrical safety, and building codes.
  • Conduct regular inspections to identify potential safety hazards and address issues promptly.
Minimum Requirements
  • A degree or diploma in Engineering, Facilities Management, or a related field is preferred.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience as an Engineering Coordinator or in a related role.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills.
  • Ability to multitask effectively.
  • Creativity and innovation.
