ROLE & RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Food Preparation: Assist in preparing ingredients, mise en place, and cooking dishes according to recipes and guidelines. Ensure all food items meet quality standards.
  • Station Management: Keep your station clean and organized, store ingredients properly, and report equipment issues.
  • Assistance in Service: Help during service by plating, garnishing, and ensuring timely delivery of orders. Communicate with the kitchen team for smooth service.
  • Adherence to Standards: Follow food safety, hygiene, and sanitation procedures. Control portion sizes and reduce waste.
  • Menu Knowledge: Learn menu items, ingredients, and techniques. Suggest improvements and seasonal changes.
  • Training and Support: Assist in training junior staff and maintain a positive kitchen environment.
  • Food Safety and Sanitation: Follow all safety standards, store and handle meat properly, and keep equipment sanitized.
  • Meat Preparation: Receive, inspect, butcher, and portion meats as directed, ensuring quality and consistency.

PERSON SPECIFICATIONS:

REQUIREMENTS:

Educational Qualifications: Bachelor's Degree in Hospitality, Business Administration, or related field.Excellent communication and organization skills, customer orientation, teamwork, adaptability, multitasking, creativity, analytical focus, and logical reasoning.
