What You'll be Doing

  • Financial Analysis & Reporting: Prepare, analyse, and present monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements. Provide insights into the company's financial performance including variance analysis against budgets and forecasts.
  • Financial Modelling: Develop and maintain financial models to support strategic initiatives including new market entry, product launches, M&A opportunities, and fundraising efforts. Analyse scenarios and provide recommendations to support decision-making.
  • Performance Monitoring: Track key financial and operational metrics. Work closely with Country MDs to understand drivers of performance and identify areas for improvement.
  • Budgeting & Forecasting: Assist in the development and maintenance of the annual budget and quarterly forecasts. Collaborate with various departments to gather inputs and ensure accuracy in financial projections.
  • Strategic Support: Support senior management in strategic planning and decision-making processes. Provide financial insights and recommendations for business strategies and growth opportunities.
  • Process Improvement: Identify opportunities to improve financial processes and systems, increasing efficiency and accuracy in reporting and analysis.
  • Ad Hoc Analysis: Perform ad hoc financial analysis and projects as requested by senior management including market analysis, competitor benchmarking, and cost optimization studies.

What You will need for this position

  • You have 5 years of experience in financial planning and analysis, investment banking, private equity, consulting, or a related field.
  • You are proficient in financial modelling and Excel.
  • You have experience with financial analysis tools and have excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
  • You enjoy building and creating new frameworks, processes, and ways of improving legacy ways of working.
  • You have the ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
  • You have strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to present complex financial information to non-financial stakeholders.
  • You have experience with financial software and ERP systems (e.g., NetSuite, QuickBooks); this is an advantage but not required.
  • You keep a proactive and adaptable mindset with the ability to thrive in a dynamic, evolving environment.

Directly reporting to our VP of FP&A and closely working with our Finance and Operations Team.
