Job Description

The FP&A Manager supports the VP FP&A in daily tasks by interacting with key departments, demonstrating excellent time management, multi-tasking, and attention to detail. The role involves analyzing and interpreting financial data, communicating insights clearly, and supporting strategic decision-making. Responsibilities include analyzing hotel topline results, P&L accounts, KPIs, HMA compliance, and reviewing monthly hotel and corporate performance reports. The position aims to enhance revenue, productivity, and cost efficiency, manage the annual budget and rolling forecasts, and support business leaders with data-driven decisions.

Reporting to the VP FP&A, responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  1. Preparing and loading quarterly Last Estimates forecasts into Onestream R&C for Fairmont & Raffles globally.
  2. Preparing and managing the annual budgets and forecasts in the same system.
  3. Managing the budgeting/forecasting process and data collection tools.
  4. Producing monthly, quarterly, and yearly performance review reports for executive presentation.
  5. Overseeing monthly closings, reporting, and performance analysis:
  • Monitoring financial performance metrics.
  • Analyzing variances between actuals, budgets, and estimates.
  • Ensuring data quality and consistency.
  • Communicating monthly P&L results to department heads.
  • Designing and implementing new reporting tools and process improvements.
  • Producing management reports and KPIs for monitoring financial and operational performance, aimed at CFO and ExCom leaders.
  • Ensuring data accuracy throughout operating cycles.
  • Providing qualitative analysis and guidance based on performance data.
  • Collaborating with other teams to improve reporting and operational planning.
  • Assisting in the development of the 5-year business plan.
  • Qualifications

    • Fluent English required.
    • Proficiency in MS Office, especially Excel; VBA, Onestream, Tableau skills are a plus.
    • Knowledge of business intelligence and data visualization tools preferred.
    • Degree in Corporate Finance or related field.
    • Highly organized, detail-oriented, professional, and proactive team player.
    • Ability to work under pressure and manage stakeholder expectations.
    • Discretion in handling confidential information.
    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
    • Strong attention to detail and quality of work.
    • Self-motivated, collaborative, creative, and able to manage multiple projects under tight deadlines.
