Job summary

Amazon is seeking a highly analytical Financial Analyst to join the FP&A team in Dubai. You will partner with stakeholders across the AMET region and with IES FP&A to provide timely analysis, support controllership reporting, and drive cost reduction opportunities.

Responsibilities include reporting, planning, forecasting, and ad hoc analytics, with a focus on standardizing processes and delivering actionable insights for the MENA region.

Qualifications

• 2 years of finance or a related analytical field experience including budgeting, planning, forecasting and reporting.
• Experience working with financial data sets to influence business decisions.
• Process improvements, automation and analysis experience.
• Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance or equivalent.
• Advanced written and oral English communication skills.
• Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel.
• Experience with large-scale data processing and reporting tools (SQL, Power Query, Power Pivot).
• Financial analysis and modeling skills.
• Exceptional interpersonal skills including written and verbal communication.

Responsibilities

• Provide timely and insightful reporting of financial results.
• Support financial review processes including monthly financial and quarterly business reviews planning forecasting and ad hoc analytics.
• Drive continual standardization and streamlining of planning and forecasting processes.
• Develop tools to drive better understanding of MENA performance and metric trends.
• Work with data source providers to ensure data is accurate, automated and timely available.
