Job summary

Michael Page is assisting a client in Dubai to appoint an FP&A Analyst. The role focuses on budgeting, forecasting, financial analysis and strategic decision-support across a growing consumer-focused business.

The ideal candidate has circa 4 years in FP&A or related areas, strong modelling and Excel skills, and professional qualifications such as ACCA/CIMA/CPA/CFA are preferred. You’ll collaborate with commercial teams to drive profitability and efficiency.

Qualifications

• Approximately 4 years of FP&A or related finance experience.
• Experience in FMCG, consumer goods or retail is advantageous.
• Strong analytical and financial modelling skills.
• Advanced Excel skills and strong reporting capabilities.
• Professional qualification such as ACCA, CIMA, CPA or CFA is preferred.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.

Responsibilities

• Support annual budgets, quarterly forecasts, and long-term plans.
• Analyze performance by reviewing budgets, forecasts, and actuals to identify trends and drivers.
• Prepare monthly and quarterly management reports with KPI analysis.
• Monitor performance against targets and provide insights for decisions.
• Collaborate with operational and commercial teams to identify improvements.
• Conduct profitability analysis across products, channels, customers, and categories.
• Support pricing analysis and evaluate financial impact of initiatives.
• Build and maintain financial models for strategic planning and growth.
• Assist with cash flow forecasting and working capital management.
• Contribute to reporting process improvements and financial planning frameworks.
