Job summary

Qualifications

• Minimum of two years' experience in FP&A or a related finance function.
• Preferred experience with ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle or equivalent.
• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting or a related discipline; CPA or equivalent preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist in preparation of financial forecasts, reforecasts and supporting schedules by analysing historical financial data, trends and approved assumptions.
• Support development, validation and maintenance of financial models and templates used for budgeting, forecasting and scenario analysis.
• Monitor key financial performance indicators and prepare regular performance reports to support financial monitoring and management decision-making.
• Conduct variance analysis by comparing actual financial results against approved budgets and forecasts, identifying key drivers and significant deviations for review by senior team members.
• Prepare periodic and ad hoc financial reports, ensuring accuracy, consistency and alignment with approved financial data sources.
• Support the annual budgeting process by gathering financial information from relevant departments, validating inputs and assisting with budget consolidation.
• Assist in preparing budget transfer and reallocation requests by compiling relevant financial data, assessing the financial impact and preparing supporting documentation in accordance with the approved DOA and budget governance framework.
• Support budget revision exercises by updating forecasts, analysing financial impacts and preparing relevant supporting schedules under the guidance of senior team members.
• Provide analytical support for new business initiatives, the establishment of new companies or entities and business expansion projects, including the preparation of financial models and feasibility analyses.
• Conduct cost analyses and efficiency reviews to support value-for-money initiatives and the effective utilisation of financial resources.
• Identify opportunities for process improvement, automation and digitalisation across FP&A activities, and recommend enhancements to improve operational efficiency, accuracy and data quality.
• Maintain accurate and organised documentation, financial assumptions and appropriate audit trails for financial analyses, models and reports.
