athGADLANG is seeking a qualified FP&A Analyst in Musaffah, Abu Dhabi for a 6-month contract. You will support financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and management reporting, working with cross-functional teams to deliver accuracy and insights for strategic decisions.

The role emphasizes month-end close, variance analysis, and development of management packs, dashboards, and financial models, with exposure to group-level finance operations in a fast-paced environment.

Formación

• ACCA, ACA, CPA, CA or equivalent professional qualification.
• Minimum 3–5 years of FP&A, financial reporting, management reporting, budgeting, forecasting, or commercial finance.
• Big Four audit background is preferred.
• Strong understanding of financial statements, planning and performance analysis.
• Experience preparing management reports, MIS packs and executive-level reporting.
• Proven budgeting, forecasting, variance analysis, and financial modelling experience.
• Experience with ERP systems and multi-entity reporting; advanced Excel skills.

Responsabilidades

• Support monthly financial close, journal entries, accruals, provisions, prepayments, and allocations.
• Conduct variance analysis comparing actuals to budgets/forecasts; develop performance metrics and financial models.
• Prepare monthly management reports, MIS packs, executive presentations, and ensure reporting accuracy and consistency.
• Assist with annual budgeting, periodic forecasts, and scenario analyses; prepare materials for senior management.
• Collaborate with finance and operations stakeholders to provide financial guidance and build partnerships.
• Assist with external audit requirements; prepare schedules, reconciliations, and supporting documentation.
• Support treasury activities, cash flow monitoring, and intercompany reconciliations.

About the Role

We are seeking a qualified and commercially minded FP&A Analyst to support the finance function in delivering accurate financial reporting, management information, budgeting, forecasting, and performance analysis. The successful candidate will work closely with finance teams and key stakeholders to provide financial insights that support strategic decision-making and operational performance.

Key Responsibilities

Financial Reporting & Month-End Close

• Support the monthly financial close process, ensuring accuracy and timeliness of reporting.
• Prepare and process month-end journal entries, including accruals, provisions, prepayments, and allocations.
• Review financial results and investigate significant variances and trends.
• Assist with balance sheet reconciliations and reporting schedules.

Financial Planning & Analysis

• Conduct detailed variance analysis comparing actual results against budgets and forecasts.
• Analyse financial performance drivers and provide actionable recommendations. Support the preparation of financial models, performance metrics, and business analysis.
• Provide financial insights to support management decision-making.

Management Reporting

• Prepare monthly management reports, MIS packs, and executive presentations. Consolidate financial and operational information from multiple stakeholders. Ensure the accuracy, completeness, and consistency of management reporting submissions.
• Support the development and enhancement of reporting processes and dashboards.
• Strong understanding of financial statements and management reporting. Experience producing board-level or executive reporting packs.
• Knowledge of budgeting and forecasting best practices.

Budgeting & Forecasting

• Assist with the annual budgeting process and periodic forecasts.
• Review departmental and business-unit budget submissions for completeness and reasonableness.
• Support financial planning activities through scenario analysis and forecasting models.
• Prepare budget review materials for senior management.

Stakeholder Management & Business Partnering

• Collaborate with finance and operational stakeholders to obtain required reporting information.
• Provide financial guidance and support across various functions.
• Build strong working relationships to improve reporting quality and financial transparency.

Audit & Compliance Support

• Assist with external audit requirements and information requests.
• Prepare audit schedules, reconciliations, and supporting documentation.
• Ensure compliance with internal financial controls and reporting procedures.

Treasury & Financial Operations

• Support payment processing activities and finance operations as required.
• Assist with cash flow monitoring and working capital reporting.
• Support intercompany recharge processes and related reconciliations.

Requirements & Qualifications

• ACCA, ACA, CPA, CA, or equivalent professional accounting qualification. Minimum 3-5 years of experience in FP&A, financial reporting, management reporting, budgeting, forecasting, or commercial finance.
• Big Four audit background is preferred.
• Strong understanding of financial statements, financial planning, and performance analysis.
• Experience preparing management reports, MIS packs, and executive-level reporting.
• Proven experience in budgeting, forecasting, variance analysis, and financial modelling.
• Experience working within ERP systems and multi-entity reporting environments. Advanced Microsoft Excel skills with strong analytical capabilities.
• Strong stakeholder management, communication, and business partnering skills. Ability to manage multiple priorities and work to tight reporting deadlines.
