Job summary

VAS Global is seeking an experienced FP&A Manager to join our Finance team in Abu Dhabi. The role will translate financial strategy into robust plans, forecasts, financial models, and actionable business insights to support data-driven decision-making.

You will lead budgeting, forecasting, and reporting, develop advanced models and dashboards, track KPIs, and coach FP&A analysts while collaborating with senior leadership across the region.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field.
• 7+ years of FP&A, corporate finance or related experience.
• Strong budgeting, forecasting, modelling and reporting skills.
• Experience with Power BI and Adaptive Insights.
• Fluent English; Arabic is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Lead annual budgeting, quarterly forecasting, and long-term financial planning with business units.
• Analyse financial performance, variances, trends, and risks for senior leadership.
• Develop and maintain advanced financial models, scenario analyses, and business cases.
• Design and monitor KPIs and dashboards to track financial and operational performance.
• Prepare management reporting packages and presentations for CFO and executives.
• Partner with Investments, Tax, Treasury, Operations, and regional finance teams to align plans with objectives.
• Identify opportunities to optimize resource allocation and profitability.
• Supervise and mentor FP&A analysts; promote strong reporting practices.
• Support strategic projects and financial initiatives as required.

About the Role

VAS Global Services is looking for an experienced FP&A Manager to join our Finance team in Abu Dhabi.

The FP&A Manager will play a key role in translating VAS’s financial strategy into robust plans, forecasts, financial models, and actionable business insights. The role will work closely with senior leadership and cross-functional teams to support data-driven decision-making, optimize resource allocation, and drive financial performance.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the annual budgeting, quarterly forecasting, and long-term financial planning processes in collaboration with business units.
• Analyse financial performance, variances, trends, and risks, providing actionable insights to senior leadership.
• Develop and maintain advanced financial models, scenario analyses, and business cases to support strategic initiatives.
• Design and monitor KPIs and dashboards to track company-wide financial and operational performance.
• Prepare management reporting packages and presentations for the CFO, Finance Director, and executive leadership.
• Partner with Investments, Tax, Treasury, Operations, and Regional/Country Finance teams to align financial plans with business objectives.
• Identify opportunities to optimize resource allocation, improve profitability, and enhance overall business performance.
• Supervise and mentor FP&A analysts, promoting strong analytical and reporting practices.
• Support strategic projects and other financial initiatives as required.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related discipline.
• 7+ years of experience in FP&A, corporate finance, investment analysis, or a related field.
• Strong experience in budgeting, forecasting, financial modelling, scenario planning, and management reporting.
• Proficiency in Power BI and/or other financial planning and analytics tools such as Adaptive Insights.
• Strong analytical and commercial acumen, with the ability to translate complex financial data into clear business recommendations.
• Experience in fast-paced or high-growth environments; exposure to sovereign wealth funds, asset management, family offices, or similar environments is an advantage.
• Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and presentation skills.
• Strong leadership and coaching capabilities.
• Professional qualification such as CFA, CPA, ACCA, CIMA, or CA is preferred.
• Fluent English is required; Arabic is an advantage.
• Willingness to travel occasionally to regional offices when required.
