Job summary

EDGE, based in Abu Dhabi, seeks a reliable Forklift Operator to support POWERTECH's warehouse and logistics operations. You will load, unload, move materials, and ensure accurate storage, with strict adherence to safety standards and company procedures.

Responsibilities include equipment inspections, assisting with receiving, packing, and dispatch, and maintaining cleanliness and inventory records. UAE forklift license and 2–5 years of experience preferred; English reading/speaking required.

About POWERTECH

POWERTECH is a center of excellence for propulsion technologies, specializing in the design, engineering, and manufacturing of combustion engines, expendable turbojet engines, and turbofan engines for a wide range of aerospace, defence, and autonomous applications, including fixed- and rotary-wing UAVs and other advanced platforms.

Purpose

We are seeking a reliable and safety-conscious Forklift Operator to support warehouse and logistics operations. The role involves operating forklifts to move, load, and unload materials efficiently while ensuring compliance with safety standards and company procedures.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Operate forklifts to load, unload, and transport materials within the warehouse or site.
• Move goods to designated storage areas ensuring proper stacking and handling.
• Assist in receiving, checking, and storing incoming materials.
• Perform routine equipment inspections and report any defects or maintenance needs.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Valid UAE forklift operator license/certification.
• 2-5 years of experience operating forklifts in warehouse, manufacturing, or logistics environments.
• Good understanding of safety practices and warehouse operations.
• Basic English communication skills (reading and speaking).
• Physically fit and able to handle manual tasks when required.
• Experience with different types of forklifts (counterbalance, reach truck, etc.)
• Familiarity with inventory systems or warehouse management systems
