Job summary

EDGE Group, a UAE-based leader in defense and advanced technologies, seeks a reliable Forklift Operator to support POWERTECH's warehouse operations in Abu Dhabi. You will move, load and unload materials, perform safety checks, and help maintain inventory accuracy while following site procedures.

Experience with forklifts, basic English, and good physical condition are required; prior warehouse experience is preferred to ensure efficient operations in a high-stakes environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• 2–5 years of forklift experience in warehouse, manufacturing or logistics.
• Knowledge of safety practices and warehouse operations.

Responsibilities

• Operate forklifts to load, unload, and transport materials.
• Move goods to storage areas with proper stacking and handling.
• Assist in receiving, checking and storing incoming materials.
• Perform routine equipment inspections and report defects.
• Follow safety guidelines and company procedures at all times.
• Support inventory control by recording material movements.
• Maintain clean and organized warehouse/work area.
• Assist with packing, palletizing and dispatch as needed.

About POWERTECH

POWERTECH is a center of excellence for propulsion technologies, specializing in the design, engineering, and manufacturing of combustion engines, expendable turbojet engines, and turbofan engines for a wide range of aerospace, defence, and autonomous applications, including fixed- and rotary-wing UAVs and other advanced platforms.

Purpose

We are seeking a reliable and safety-conscious Forklift Operator to support warehouse and logistics operations. The role involves operating forklifts to move, load, and unload materials efficiently while ensuring compliance with safety standards and company procedures.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Operate forklifts to load, unload, and transport materials within the warehouse or site.
• Move goods to designated storage areas ensuring proper stacking and handling.
• Assist in receiving, checking, and storing incoming materials.
• Perform routine equipment inspections and report any defects or maintenance needs.
• Ensure adherence to safety guidelines and operational procedures at all times.
• Support inventory control by accurately recording material movements.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the warehouse and work area.
• Assist with packing, palletizing, and dispatch activities when required.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• 2–5 years of experience operating forklifts in warehouse, manufacturing, or logistics environments.
• Good understanding of safety practices and warehouse operations.
• Basic English communication skills (reading and speaking).
• Physically fit and able to handle manual tasks when required.
• Experience with different types of forklifts (counterbalance, reach truck, etc.)
• Familiarity with inventory systems or warehouse management systems
