We are seeking a skilled Mechanical Foreman – Tank to supervise and coordinate the fabrication, assembly, and erection of steel storage tanks at project sites or workshops. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in tank construction, including shell erection, welding supervision, and alignment activities, while ensuring adherence to project specifications and safety standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise the fabrication and erection of tanks including bottom, shell, roof, and nozzles.
• Read and interpret tank drawings, welding maps, and fabrication details.
• Allocate tasks to fitters and welders and ensure work is completed to required standards.
• Monitor work progress and report daily activities to site engineers or construction managers.
• Ensure compliance with project specifications, welding procedures, and safety protocols.
• Coordinate with QA/QC teams for fit-up inspections, welding approvals, and NDT scheduling.
• Maintain daily logs, manpower reports, and material tracking.

Diploma or technical certification in Mechanical Engineering or Fabrication.

Minimum 5 years of experience in tank construction, including at least 2 years in a supervisory role.

Strong knowledge of tank erection techniques, welding processes, and codes (API 650/620).

Ability to interpret fabrication and erection drawings.

Familiarity with lifting, alignment, and hydrotesting procedures.

Good leadership, communication, and team coordination skills.

Experience in oil & gas, water, or industrial tank projects is preferred.
