We are seeking a skilled and experienced Foreman – Chilled Water Systems to lead and supervise the installation, testing, and commissioning of chilled water piping systems for commercial, residential, and industrial projects. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in chilled water piping networks, pump rooms, AHUs/FCUs connections, and ensure all works comply with project specifications, safety standards, and timelines.
Key Responsibilities:
Supervise and coordinate the activities of chilled water piping crews on site.
Interpret and work from mechanical drawings, schematics, and shop drawings.
Ensure accurate installation of chilled water piping, valves, fittings, and associated mechanical equipment.
Monitor site activities to ensure compliance with project specifications, QA/QC standards, and safety protocols.
Coordinate with engineers, subcontractors, and other disciplines (electrical, civil) to resolve technical issues.
Plan daily activities and allocate manpower and resources effectively.
Ensure proper handling, storage, and installation of pipes (HDPE, PPR, GI, etc.) and insulation materials.
Conduct site inspections and quality checks during and after installation.
Assist in the hydrostatic testing, flushing, and commissioning of chilled water systems.
Maintain site reports, material logs, and work progress updates.
Enforce adherence to HSE guidelines and promote a culture of safety on site.
Qualifications & Experience:
Technical Diploma or ITI in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
Minimum 4 years of experience in chilled water systems, with at least 3 years in a supervisory/foreman role.
Strong knowledge of chilled water networks, pump rooms, and HVAC mechanical systems.
Ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings and specifications.
Familiar with tools, machines, and safety practices related to chilled water piping.
Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
