Job Description

1. Oversee daily operations on-site, ensuring that all tasks are executed efficiently and safely according to project timelines.
2. Act as the primary liaison between the construction crew and project managers, facilitating clear communication and immediate problem-solving.
3. Conduct regular inspections of work areas to ensure compliance with safety regulations and to identify potential hazards or risks.
4. Manage and allocate resources effectively, including labor, materials, and equipment, to maximize productivity and minimize delays.
5. Provide hands-on training and mentorship to crew members, fostering skill development and promoting a culture of continuous improvement.
6. Monitor project progress against established timelines and budgets, making adjustments as necessary to keep the project on track.
7. Prepare daily reports detailing work completed, resource usage, and any issues encountered, ensuring accurate documentation for project tracking.
8. Enforce company policies and safety protocols, leading by example to create a safe and respectful work environment.
9. Coordinate with subcontractors and vendors to ensure timely delivery of materials and services, maintaining strong professional relationships.
10. Assist in resolving conflicts on-site, utilizing strong interpersonal skills to maintain team morale and productivity.

Desired Candidate Profile

1. High school diploma or equivalent; additional vocational training or certification in construction management is preferred.
2. Minimum of 5 years of experience in the construction industry, with a proven track record of leading teams effectively.
3. Relevant certifications such as OSHA, First Aid, or CPR to ensure workplace safety and compliance.
4. Experience in specific construction fields such as residential, commercial, or industrial projects is highly valued.
5. Fluency in English is mandatory; proficiency in additional languages is a strong advantage to facilitate communication.
6. Strong technical skills in reading blueprints and understanding construction methods and materials are essential.
7. Excellent leadership abilities to motivate a diverse team and drive performance under pressure.
