Job Title: FOOTWEAR RECYCLING OPERATIONS MANAGER (EXPERIENCED IN SHREDDING MACHINERY)

Salary Range: AED 9,000 - 12,000 per month.

Experience: 5+ years recycling or manufacturing operations, particularly with shredding machinery.

Education: Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.

About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced Footwear Recycling Operations Manager on behalf of our client, a leading e-commerce platform focused on pre-loved footwear. The client is committed to sustainability and creating eco-friendly solutions in the fashion industry. This position will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the footwear recycling operations, ensuring the efficient operation of shredding equipment, and driving continuous improvement in recycling techniques.

Position Overview:

The ideal candidate will have significant experience in recycling processes, hands-on expertise with shredding machinery, and a passion for promoting sustainability. This role will involve managing daily operations, ensuring compliance with environmental regulations, and leading a team of recyclers.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Operational Oversight: Manage all aspects of footwear recycling operations including sorting, processing, and recycling materials.
2. Shredding Equipment Management: Operate and maintain shredding machinery to maximize efficiency in material processing.
3. Team Leadership: Supervise and train a team of recyclers to ensure productivity, safety, and adherence to recycling practices.
4. Sustainability & Compliance: Ensure recycling activities comply with environmental regulations and implement sustainable practices to reduce waste.
5. Equipment Troubleshooting: Lead the calibration, setup, and maintenance of shredding machines and other recycling equipment.
6. Logistics Coordination: Manage material collection, transportation, and storage logistics.
7. Innovation & Strategic Planning: Identify and implement innovative recycling technologies and strategies to improve operational efficiency.

Qualifications:

1. 5+ years of experience in recycling or manufacturing operations, particularly with shredding machinery.
2. Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
3. Hands-on experience with shredding equipment and recycling machinery.
4. Strong leadership skills and team management experience.
5. In-depth knowledge of sustainability practices and waste management.
