Ideally candidates will have experience of management systems and have qualifications and approvals for auditing key food sector schemes including FSSC 22000.

Requirements

• Minimum Bachelor Degree in a Food related or Bioscience discipline;
• +4 years of work Experience in the food industry (Work Experience in Catering and Food Services is a plus)
• +1 year of work Experience as Qualified FSMS (ISO 22000 / FSSC 22000) Lead Auditor
• FSSC 22000/ISO 22000 Lead Auditor recognized Training Course Certificate;
• Have completed required number of observations, team auditor and acting lead auditor audits to be qualified as a lead auditor (audit log copy required);
• Ability to read/interpret audit protocols and work instruction;
• Good analytical skills and specialized know-how of relevant methods;
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills;
• High social competence and ability to work in a team;
• Willingness to travel;
• Attention to detail and ability to work independently

Responsibilities

• Performs 3rd party certification audits for Food Safety Management including ISO 22000 & HACCP based on Dubai, UAE Municipality requirements
• Performs 2nd party quality and/or Food safety audits/assessments on behalf of customers and their suppliers
• Maintain schedule of audit activity with customers and maintain accurate and complete audit records and documentation
• Provide timely and accurate reviews of customer corrective action and closure
• Maintain appropriate audit credentials and pursues advancement of those credentials and other related credentials as needed
• Provides communication of changes and clarification for other Food & Beverage standards offered by WECERT to stakeholders
• Works closely with the Certification office to advance auditor qualifications
• Works closely with the Food & Beverage Sector Manager on Operations related activities
• Plan, conduct, and report on FSMS audits, ensuring compliance with relevant standards and regulations.
• Stay up-to-date with changes in FSMS standards and regulations.
• Other responsibilities as assigned by management
