Job summary

Sofitel Dubai The Palm is seeking an enthusiastic Food & Beverage Outlet Attendant to deliver exceptional guest service in a luxury beachfront resort. You will manage mise-en-place, take orders, upsell, and maintain high standards across the outlet with a focus on hospitality excellence.

Based in the United Arab Emirates, you will work within the F&B team to ensure flawless service, accurate POS handling, and a memorable guest experience in a dynamic resort environment.

Qualifications

• Prior experience in a luxury hotel or established restaurant environment.
• Be fun, energetic and have a passion for hospitality.
• Already based in the United Arab Emirates.
• Fluent English speaker.

Responsibilities

• Familiarize with all food and beverage items on the outlet menu.
• Prepare the outlet for operation including mise-en-place and setting/resetting tables.
• Take food and beverage orders from guests and upsell where possible.
• Utilize the outlet POS system as prescribed.
• Ensure all sales are recorded and items ordered/voided correctly.
• Serve food and beverages according to established standards.
• Clear tables and remove dirty dishes to the dish area.
• Complete opening and closing duties as assigned.
• Be flexible to accommodate special guest requests for methods/ingredients.
• Follow presentation guidelines established by the F&B Manager.
• Maintain the assigned station/section clean and orderly at all times.
• Ensure company minimum brand standards are implemented and apply optional standards where appropriate.

Job Description

• To be familiar with all food and beverage items on the outlet menu.
• To prepare the outlet for operation, including mise-en-place, setting and resetting tables, light cleaning and other assigned tasks.
• To take food and beverage orders from guests, upselling wherever possible.
• To utilize the outlet point-of-sales system as prescribed
• To ensure that all sales are properly recorded, following prescribed procedures for ordering, voiding or correcting items.
• To serve food and beverages according to the standards established.
• To clear tables and removes dirty dishes to the dish area.
• To complete opening and closing duties as assigned.
• To be flexible wherever possible in meeting special requests from guests for specific food and beverage preparation methods and ingredients.
• To follow presentation guidelines as established by the Food & Beverage Manager.
• To maintain the assigned station / section in a clean and orderly manner at all times.
• To ensure that all company minimum brand standards are implemented, and that optional brand standards are implemented where appropriate
