Job summary

Chef Middle East in Dubai is seeking a Quality Assurance Coordinator to support the Operations team. The role focuses on Quality Assurance and Health & Safety across the business, assisting the QA Officer and maintaining a robust management framework.

You should have strong communication, attention to detail, and knowledge of HACCP and QA procedures. Fresh graduates are welcome to apply.

Qualifications

• Postgraduate / Graduate degree in Biotechnology, Microbiology, Food Technology, Food Science or Engineering.
• 2–3 years of food plant or FMCG experience.
• Strong communication with customers, managers and employees alike.
• Knowledge of QA procedures and applicable food safety legislation including HACCP.
• Training in Basic or Intermediate Food Hygiene preferred.
• Excellent problem solving and organizational skills.
• Self-motivated and results driven.
• Teamwork and ability to work well in a team.
• Ability to meet deadlines and drive improvements.

Responsibilities

• Accomplish customers’ Food Safety assessment questionnaires and documentation.
• Respond to QA-related enquiries.
• Prepare Corrective Action Request forms for customers and suppliers.
• Filing and organizing QA documentation (FSMS manual, procedures, policies, checklists, and monitoring records).
• Assist QAO on administrative tasks (word processing, editing documents, presentations, filing).
• Author and update procedures and SOPs as needed.
• Administer Food Watch BFS training requests and approvals.
• Facilitate external audits in the absence of QAO.
• Perform monthly GWP and Vehicle Inspections in the absence of QAO.
