Job description

JOB SUMMARY

Main Duties/Responsibilities:

  1. Supervise the service staff team
  2. Offer guests an enjoyable, expertly served beverage/dining experience for all events.
  3. Anticipate and service guests' requirements before requests are necessary.
  4. Be familiar with the beverage service including stemware used and appropriate garnishes.
  5. Complete opening and closing side work as assigned and ensure all tables are set according to standard.
  6. Utilize the hotel's computer system for ringing up sales, printing checks, closing checks, and completing closing readings.
  7. Carry trays, bus, and reset tables with linen, china, glass, and silver.
  8. Ascertain a guest's satisfaction and handle any problems that may arise, informing a manager of the problem and how it was resolved.

CANDIDATE PROFILE

  1. Basic hotel school diploma
  2. 2 years minimum experience working in a multicultural / 5-star hotel environment.
  3. Multi-skilled.
  4. Experience in food and beverage or event field.
  5. Speed and accuracy (able to manage last-minute activities).
  6. Ability to handle luxury guest volumes on a daily basis.
  7. Should be able to work under pressure in a customer service environment.
  8. Must be flexible and able to work long hours.
