A leading hotel chain in Dubai is seeking a Manager to ensure staff performance and guest satisfaction. This role involves supervising team operations, maintaining quality standards, and direct interaction with guests. Candidates should have a strong background in hospitality, excellent leadership skills, and a high school diploma.
POSITION SUMMARY
Ensure staff works together as a team to provide optimal service and meet guest needs. Inspect staff grooming and attire, and rectify any deficiencies. Complete opening and closing duties, including setting up supplies and tools, cleaning all equipment and areas, and locking doors. Inspect storage areas for organization, use of FIFO, and cleanliness. Complete scheduled inventories and stock supplies as needed. Monitor dining rooms for seating availability, service, safety, and guest well-being. Complete work orders for maintenance repairs.
Assist management with hiring, training, scheduling, evaluating, counseling, disciplining, motivating, and coaching employees; serve as a role model and first point of contact for the Guarantee of Fair Treatment/Open Door Policy process. Follow all company safety and security policies; report accidents, injuries, and unsafe conditions; complete safety training and certifications. Ensure uniforms and personal appearance are professional; maintain confidentiality and protect company assets. Welcome and acknowledge guests, anticipate and address their needs, assist individuals with disabilities, and thank guests sincerely. Communicate clearly and professionally. Develop positive relationships, support team goals, and respond appropriately to colleagues' concerns. Ensure adherence to quality standards and suggest improvements to increase efficiency, productivity, safety, and cost savings. Read and verify information in various formats, visually inspect tools and equipment for defects, and perform physical tasks such as standing, walking, lifting, and reaching. Perform other duties as requested by supervisors.
