Job description

JOB SUMMARY

Main Duties/Responsibilities:

  1. Supervise the service staff team
  2. Offer guests an enjoyable, expertly served beverage/dining experience for all events.
  3. Anticipate and service of guests' requirements before requests is necessary.
  4. Be familiar with the beverage service including stemware used and appropriates garnishes.
  5. Complete opening and closing side work as assigned and has all tables set according to standard.
  6. Utilize the hotel's computer system ringing up sales, printing checks, closing checks and completing closing readings.
  7. Carry trays, bus and reset tables with linen, china, glass and silver.
  8. Ascertain a guest's satisfaction and handle any problem, which may arise informing a manager of the problem and how it was resolved.

CANDIDATE PROFILE

  1. Basic hotel school diploma
  2. 2 year minimum experience working in a multicultural / 5 star hotel environment.
  3. Multi skilled.
  4. Experience in food and beverage or event field.
  5. Speed and accuracy. (able to manage last minute activities)
  6. Ability to handle luxury guest volumes on a daily basis.
  7. Should be able to work under pressure in a customer service environment.
  8. Must be flexible and ability to work long hours.
