JOB TITLE

F&B Inventory Supervisor | MAF Entertainment | Operations

ROLE SUMMARY

Responsible for overseeing inventory across all Majid Al Futtaim LEC-operated sites, ensuring smooth operations and optimized stock levels. Implements cost control measures without compromising service or customer experience. Ensures compliance with food safety, health and safety standards, and relevant local regulations for receiving and storage.

ROLE PROFILE

  • Inventory Oversight: Monitor inventory levels, process purchase orders, track deliveries, and manage daily transactions (receipts, transfers, wastage) in the MC system.
  • Stock Control & Reconciliation: Conduct physical stock counts, reconcile discrepancies, and report variances with root cause analysis to Site and Inventory Control Managers.
  • Data Accuracy & System Maintenance: Ensure accurate inventory data, validate transactions, investigate system anomalies, and maintain item records in Vista/MC.
  • Food Safety & Storage Compliance: Enforce food safety and health standards in storerooms related to receiving, cleanliness, temperature-specific storage, and traceability.
  • Cost Control Support: Work with the Inventory Control Manager to reduce losses, control variances, analyze wastage, and suggest corrective actions.
  • Supplier & Operations Coordination: Liaise with chefs, site inventory teams, and suppliers regarding recipes, transfers, product specifications, and GRNs.
  • Reporting & Documentation: Provide regular reports (e.g., stock receipts, wastage, variances, and sales) and stocktake reviews to management with insights and justifications.
  • KPI Monitoring & Continuous Improvement: Ensure inventory KPIs are met—cost of sales, variance, and wastage targets—while supporting recipe reviews and maintaining compliance standards.

REQUIREMENTS

  • Technical Skills: Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) with working knowledge of inventory systems like Vista and Materials Control (MC).
  • Industry Experience: At least 2 years of inventory control experience in the Food & Beverage industry, with preference for experience using Materials Control/Micros.
  • Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written English communication abilities.
  • Personal Attributes: Organized, dependable team player with strong interpersonal, time management, and problem-solving skills.
  • Education: Minimum of a high school certificate.
  • UAE Based Only
