As our new Food & Beverage Coordinator, you’ll be the heartbeat of our dining operations—supporting the team to deliver seamless service, elevate everyday moments, and ensure every guest enjoys an experience worth coming back for. Whether it’s assisting with a picture-perfect event setup, tracking down that last-minute request, or helping the team run like clockwork behind the scenes, you’ll be right where the action is.
A little taste of your day-to-day:
- Arrange appointments and meetings for the Assistant Director & Director of F&B
- Prepare files, reports, correspondence and other relevant business documentation
- Handle general enquiries (i.e. F&B reservation calls and complaints)
- Send proposals to F&B outlet inquiries
- Open and sort incoming mail, reply/forward correspondence to the relevant areas accordingly
- Answer incoming telephone calls and either transfer, redirect or take a message
- Monitor incoming mail and reply/forward correspondence to the relevant areas
- Communicate well with all F&B outlets and related departments to ensure effective shift handovers
- Coordinate with all the outlet managers accordingly
- Coordinate and keep track with Human Resources of the contract renewals and appraisals with all F&B staff
- Arrange contracts for entertainment (i.e. DJs, singers, etc.)
- Handle entertainment requests and approval (i.e. dine-in, vouchers, cakes, etc.)
- Take responsibility for the booking of major events such as Christmas, New Year, etc., and should be present at the event
- Assist guests and escort them to locations within the hotel at their request
- Maintain current Hotel information and F&B promotions to be able to provide information to guests
- Maintain positive relationships with all internal customers and guests in order to exceed their needs and take action to address these needs in order to exceed their expectations and report problems to Management with suggestions for resolution
- Attend the F&B daily briefing
- Handle the department's payroll on a monthly basis
- Interact with department and hotel staff in a professional and positive manner to foster good rapport, promote team spirit and ensure effective two-way communication
- Maintain general filing systems
- Actively participate in organized meetings
- Work in line with business requirements
- Perform related duties, special projects and complete tasks as assigned and directed by the Management
What We need from you:
- 1-2 years of experience in a similar administrative or coordinator role within a hotel, 5-star or luxury resort experience is an advantage
- Fluent in English with strong written and verbal communication skills; knowledge of an additional language is an advantage.
- Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.
- Problem solving, reasoning, analytical, motivating, and training abilities are often used when assessing food service delivery and coordinating functions.
- Basic math skills, reading, and writing are used when completing paperwork and other reports.
- Must be able to work nights, weekends, and holidays.
- Excellent interpersonal skills to build relationships internally and externally.
