Job summary

Avani Palm View Dubai Hotel & Suites is seeking a Food & Beverage Attendant to deliver warm, attentive service and ensure a smooth dining experience for guests in our luxury hotel restaurant.

You will present menus, take orders, and coordinate with the kitchen to guarantee timely service. Maintain table settings, uphold hygiene standards, and assist with buffet setups as needed.

Qualifications

• Prior experience in hospitality or food & beverage is preferred.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Ability to work in fast-paced environments and coordinate with kitchen staff.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests warmly and assist with seating and dining arrangements.
• Present menus, take orders accurately, and relay requests to kitchen staff.
• Serve food and beverages following service standards; clear tables and maintain dining area cleanliness.
• Ensure HACCP and hygiene practices are followed at all times.
• Handle guest inquiries and dietary requirements professionally; assist with bill settlement.

The role supports daily restaurant operations, maintains cleanliness and service standards, and contributes to guest satisfaction in line with the hotel's luxury hospitality standards.Welcome guests warmly and assist them with seating and dining arrangements.Present menus, explain food and beverage selections, and provide recommendations when required.Take food and beverage orders accurately and ensure timely service.Serve food and beverages according to hotel service standards and procedures.Prepare and maintain restaurant tables, service stations, and dining areas before, during, and after service.Ensure tables are properly set with clean cutlery, glassware, crockery, and other required items.Respond promptly and professionally to guest requests, concerns, and special dietary requirements.Coordinate with the Kitchen and other F&B team members to ensure smooth and efficient service.Assist with buffet setup, replenishment, clearing, and breakdown when required.Maintain cleanliness and hygiene of the restaurant, equipment, and service areas.Follow HACCP, food safety, personal hygiene, and sanitation standards at all times.Handle guest bills and payments accurately when assigned.Promote menu specials and additional offerings to enhance the guest dining experience.Monitor supplies and report shortages, damaged equipment, or maintenance concerns to the supervisor.Follow hotel grooming standards, service procedures, and health and safety policies.Perform other duties assigned by the F&B Supervisor or Assistant F&B ManagerNot the right fit?
