Job summary

Avani Palm View Dubai Hotel & Suites is seeking a Food & Beverage Attendant to deliver friendly, attentive service in our restaurant. You will assist with seating, explain menus, take orders, and ensure timely service in a luxury hospitality environment.

Responsibilities include maintaining dining areas, adhering to HACCP and hygiene standards, coordinating with kitchen and other team members, handling guest requests, and supporting buffet setup as needed.

Responsibilities

• Welcome guests warmly and assist them with seating and dining arrangements.
• Present menus, explain food and beverage selections, and provide recommendations when required.
• Take food and beverage orders accurately and ensure timely service.
• Serve food and beverages according to hotel service standards and procedures.
• Prepare and maintain restaurant tables, service stations, and dining areas before, during, and after service.
• Ensure tables are properly set with clean cutlery, glassware, crockery, and other required items.
• Respond promptly and professionally to guest requests, concerns, and special dietary requirements.
• Coordinate with the Kitchen and other F&B team members to ensure smooth and efficient service.
• Assist with buffet setup, replenishment, clearing, and breakdown when required.
• Maintain cleanliness and hygiene of the restaurant, equipment, and service areas.
• Follow HACCP, food safety, personal hygiene, and sanitation standards at all times.
• Handle guest bills and payments accurately when assigned.
• Promote menu specials and additional offerings to enhance the guest dining experience.
• Monitor supplies and report shortages, damaged equipment, or maintenance concerns to the supervisor.
• Follow hotel grooming standards, service procedures, and health and safety policies.
• Perform other duties assigned by the F&B Supervisor or Assistant F&B Manager
