Your day to day

Your responsibilities:

1. To ensure that SOP Basic standards are adhered to in order to achieve the level of service established in the Departmental Operations Manual.
2. To take a hands-on approach in the operation of the outlet.
3. To attend daily briefing on preparation, service, and menu.
4. To be knowledgeable of the food and beverage items in the restaurant.
5. To master and perform the service sequence standards for both buffet and a la carte service styles.
6. Serve food and beverage to guests according to prescribed service standards and procedures with emphasis on speed and accuracy.
7. To contribute to overall guest experience metrics through the delivery of the voco brand standards and service behaviours.
8. To liaise with the supporting departments on daily operation and quality.
9. To establish a rapport with guests maintaining a good relationship.
10. To carry out any other reasonable duties and responsibilities as assigned.
11. To have a complete understanding of and adhere to the Hotel’s Policy relating to Fire, Hygiene, Health, and Safety.
12. To attend all required training sessions/programmes.
13. To ensure cleanliness and maintain equipment, tools, fixtures, and service area in the station assigned.
14. To be responsible for cost-saving on guest supplies, food supplies, electricity, water, etc.

What we need from you:

1. 1 year related experience in the same capacity.
2. Excellent communication skills, English is a must.
3. A naturally outgoing and friendly personality with a passion for service excellence to consistently deliver and demonstrate voco service standards.
4. A true team-player mentality and flexible attitude towards a diverse set of tasks.
5. Have the ability to work a flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and/or holidays.
