We are currently looking for dynamic and self-motivated Food & Beverage professionals to assist in organizing and directing a team that develops top-quality food & beverage products, with prompt, accurate, and personalized service.
As a Food & Beverage Ambassador, you will be the first point of contact for our guests. You are responsible for receiving and giving a warm welcome to our guests, providing an efficient and courteous approach at all times, and ensuring a proficient, professional, and excellent dining experience by meeting and exceeding their expectations.
General Duties and Responsibilities:
- Offer consistently professional, friendly, warm, and engaging service.
- Welcome guests to the outlet, escort them to tables, ensure they are attended to, and be available as a point of contact. Provide menus and introduce the waitstaff.
- Cater to guests requiring extra attention (e.g., children, elderly) and respond to inquiries and requests in a timely and friendly manner.
- Ensure food and beverage orders meet quality standards and are delivered promptly.
- Assist colleagues as needed to meet work goals.
- Use the standards in the F&B Enquiry/Booking Checklist when handling reservations and inquiries.
- Record relevant guest history in profiles.
- Capture guest source data accurately (in-house, local residents, tourists) and consolidate per shift.
- Handle reservations, manage the reservation book, and answer calls professionally.
- Coordinate with the service team for reservation arrangements and table management.
- Maintain cleanliness and upkeep of the outlet and entrance area.
- Ensure guest well-being through friendly, discreet contact.
- Be knowledgeable about menus and promotions to assist guests effectively.
- Contribute to the outlet database with details on regular guests and their preferences.
- Ensure guest satisfaction upon departure.
- Perform all tasks related to Food & Beverage service according to hotel standards.
- Acquire in-depth knowledge of the outlet's menu to advise guests.
- Practice good customer relations and address complaints satisfactorily.
- Ensure the outlet is properly set up for service and supervise operations for smoothness.
- Supervise the service team to ensure duties are performed to standards.
- Use up-selling techniques to enhance guest experience and increase revenue.
- Operate safely and environmentally responsibly to protect health, safety, and the environment.
- Comply with hotel policies on environmental, health, and safety standards.
