Job description

Reporting to the Outlet Manager, responsibilities and essential job functions include, but are not limited to, the following:

1. Consistently offer professional, friendly, warm, and engaging service.
2. Demonstrate a complete understanding of outlet policies, procedures, and service standards.
3. Have full knowledge of the menu and beverage lists in your outlet, as well as all other promotions taking place in the hotel.
4. Have knowledge of all menu items, garnishes, contents, and food preparation methods.
5. Assist guests regarding menu items in an informative and helpful manner.
6. Follow all safety and sanitation policies when handling food and beverages.
7. Report to work on time, in a neatly pressed, clean uniform, and with a name badge.
8. Understand shift end reports and have knowledge of non-cash/cash transactions and procedures for depositing monies into the safe or collecting due backs.
9. Attend pre-meal briefings, weekly and monthly meetings to continually improve the guest experience.
10. Follow outlet policies, procedures, and service standards.
11. Ensure linen is counted properly at the end of the shift.
12. Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications :

1. Excellent communication and organizational skills.
2. Fluency in English is required; Arabic speaking is an asset.
3. Highly responsible and reliable.
4. Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
5. Ability to work well in a team environment.
6. Previous Micros experience is an asset but not required; training will be provided.
7. Strong interpersonal and problem-solving abilities.

Physical Aspects of Position (include but are not limited to):

1. Frequent standing and walking throughout the shift.
2. Occasional lifting and carrying up to 20 lbs.
3. Frequent kneeling, pushing, pulling, and sitting.
