SCOPE (Brief Description Of Overall Responsibility):

This role encompasses the responsibility for the management of the estimating process in the preparation of accurate base cost estimates and the direct responsibility for the compilation, and submission, of concise and high-quality proposal documents for company tenders for refurbishment, repair and new-build projects. The role is a key role within the Proposals Group, recognizing the importance of producing compliant, professional and well-timed proposal documents for all company tenders.

The Main Job Activities:

Ø Conduct thorough technical analysis of customer specifications to ensure proposal compliance and feasibility.

Ø Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather accurate data and insights for proposal development.

Ø Develop detailed cost estimates by analysing project requirements and market conditions.

Ø Prepare compelling and tailored proposals that clearly communicate value propositions to clients.

Ø Manage timelines and deliverables to ensure timely submission of proposals while adhering to quality standards.

Ø Engage with clients to clarify requirements and expectations, fostering strong relationships throughout the proposal process.

Ø Utilize advanced software and tools for proposal generation, ensuring efficiency and accuracy.

Desired Candidate Profile

Ø Mechanical Engineer

Ø At least 5 Years experience in the same field.

Ø Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex technical data and transform it into clear proposals.

Ø Experience in the costing of Package/ Skid Units including piping, structure, valves …etc

Ø Gas & Liquid Line Sizing, and Pressure Drop calculations

Ø Professional certifications to demonstrate proficiency in proposal management.

Ø Detail-oriented mindset with a focus on accuracy and meeting stringent deadlines.

Ø Proactive attitude with a passion for continuous learning and adapting to new challenges in the industry.
