The role of a Fleet Manager is integral to the efficient functioning of organizations that operate a range of vehicles, from small cars to heavy trucks. As a Fleet Manager, you will be responsible for managing and overseeing the company's fleet operations, ensuring all vehicles are in good working condition and regulations are met. It involves strategizing and implementing practices that enhance productivity, improve the cost-efficiency of vehicle operations, and maintain a high standard of safety compliance. This role also demands a keen focus on improving drivers efficiency and ensuring customer satisfaction. Given the dynamic nature of fleet operations, the Fleet Manager must be adept at problem-solving and managing multiple moving parts effectively. Responsibilities

  • Coordinate scheduling of routine maintenance and urgent repairs for all vehicles.
  • Analyze fleet data to monitor vehicle performance and provide summaries to senior management.
  • Negotiate purchase, lease, and insurance agreements with vendors and service providers.
  • Maintain detailed records of vehicle registrations, insurance, and licensing documents.
  • Provide training and guidance to drivers on safe and efficient vehicle operation.
  • Implement and monitor fleet tracking systems for real-time performance insights.

Requirements
