We are currently hiring for a talented Fleet Coordinator, which will be responsible for managing and coordinating the day-to-day operations of a company's fleet of vehicles. This includes overseeing vehicle maintenance, tracking and scheduling repairs, managing fuel efficiency, ensuring compliance with regulations, and optimizing overall fleet performance.
Responsibilities and Duties:
- Develop and implement a proactive maintenance schedule for all fleet vehicles.
- Coordinate regular inspections and servicing to ensure vehicles are in optimal working condition.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of each vehicle, including service history, repairs, and maintenance activities.
- Ensure that all fleet operations comply with local, state, and federal regulations.
- Stay informed about changes in regulations affecting fleet management and implement necessary adjustments.
- Negotiate contracts and service agreements to ensure cost-effective solutions.
- Communicate effectively with drivers regarding vehicle issues, maintenance schedules, and safety protocols.
- Identify cost-saving opportunities without compromising safety or performance.
- Develop and implement emergency response plans for unexpected breakdowns or accidents.
- Coordinate with relevant parties to ensure quick and efficient resolution.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Logistics, or a related field preferred.
- Proven experience in fleet management or a similar role.
- Knowledge of vehicle maintenance, regulations, and industry best practices.
- Strong organizational and communication skills.
- Proficiency in using fleet management software and tools.
