Job Overview:
The Pipeline FJC Supervisor is responsible for planning, coordinating, and supervising all Field joint coating activities, spares, personnel and inspection throughout offshore/onshore pipeline construction. The position focusses to ensure pipeline weld coating integrity through proper surface preparation, coating application, curing and inspection and compliance with project specifications, international standards, project procedures. They provide feedback to improve the field joint coating process to ensure high productivity and consistent coating quality during procedure qualification test and pipeline construction. The role ensures coordinating multidisciplinary teams and interface with key stakeholders such as Marine, Quality, field/ production Engineer, PPG Welding lead, Welding supervisor, coating lead, NDT Lead & Equipment Lead achieve project objectives. The FJC supervisor shall ensure coating application process is in compliance with project procedures, optimizes resources, and mitigates risks to deliver pipelines as per MDR safety and quality requirements on schedule and within budget. FJC supervisor is accountable for the FJC station activities during project execution with respect to FJC readiness, PQT coupon requirements, start-up, production KPI, minimize downtime and Lesson learned.
