ENEC Operations is seeking a detail-oriented professional for inventory and fixed asset management. Job Purpose
To record Inventory / fixed asset capitalization, depreciation, write-off, and maintenance of sub-ledger reconciled accounting records in order to administer Inventory / Fixed Assets in compliance with the UAE statutory requirements, IFRS, management requirements, and with appropriate internal controls.

Activity: Fixed Asset Management
Responsibilities and Accountabilities:
• Use Oracle ERP and other systems to administer accurate fixed asset transactions in line with ENEC capitalization policies, ensuring monthly reconciliation of fixed asset sub-ledger accounts.
• Coordinate with Senior GL Accountant and Projects Accountant to set up asset location codes, category codes, and useful life parameters, mapping categories to GL accounts.
• Reconcile fixed asset and inventory sub-ledgers, review the fixed asset register with owners to ensure accurate asset status updates.
• Maintain and reconcile the Fixed Asset register for external audits, including disclosures and annual records of additions and deletions.
• Review and analyze physical inventory counts in accordance with guidelines.
Activity: Inventory Management
Responsibilities and Accountabilities:
• Maintain inventory records such as Goods Receipt Notes, Goods Delivery Notes, issuing, spoilage, and safekeeping in coordination with warehouse staff.
• Collaborate with warehouse staff to ensure compliance with ENEC requirements and update inventory modules regularly.
• Reconcile ERP inventory data with warehouse systems monthly, quarterly, and annually for management reporting.
• Ensure inventory transactions comply with IFRS and statutory requirements, including physical stock takes and supporting audits.
• Support development and monitoring of inventory systems for stock efficiency.
• Assist in strategic planning and ensure reporting quality conforms to regulations and policies.
• Process monthly and yearly inventory adjustments.
