A leading company in the energy sector is looking for a professional to manage inventory and fixed asset accounting functions. The role involves maintaining compliance with UAE statutory requirements and IFRS while supporting the development of internal capabilities and quality management. Ideal candidates will possess a Bachelor's Degree and relevant experience, with a strong background in the energy or construction sectors preferred.
Job Purpose
To record Inventory / fixed asset capitalization, depreciation, write-off, and maintenance of sub-ledger reconciled accounting records to administer Inventory / Fixed Asset in compliance with UAE statutory requirements, IFRS, management policies, and internal controls.
Key Activities, Responsibilities & Accountabilities

Follow all relevant security policies, processes, procedures, and instructions to ensure security compliance, applying them to oneself, others, and corporate assets.
Adhere to Business Continuity and Resilience policies to ensure effective planning for and response to incidents or disruptions, minimizing adverse impacts on critical business processes.

Contribute to the development of UAE National employees supporting the corporation's objectives and Emiratization strategy. Share knowledge to build internal capabilities and maximize performance.
Excellence and Quality Management:
Promote continuous improvement by eliminating waste, following operational procedures, encouraging innovation, problem-solving, and teamwork. Comply with Quality Management System policies, provide and receive constructive feedback, and meet quality standards and stakeholder expectations. Uphold Nawah Fundamentals.
Fixed Asset Management:
Utilize Oracle ERP and other systems to manage fixed assets accurately and timely, reconciling sub-ledger accounts monthly. Coordinate with accounting teams to set up asset categories and codes, ensuring consistency. Reconcile fixed asset and inventory records, maintain fixed asset register for audits, and review physical inventory counts.
Inventory Management:
Maintain and update inventory records, coordinate with warehouse staff, reconcile ERP inventory modules, and prepare reports for management and financial reporting. Ensure compliance with IFRS and statutory requirements, support inventory system development, and process adjustments as needed.
Stakeholder Engagement:
Facilitate effective communication internally and externally to foster mutually beneficial relationships.
Health, Safety, Environment, Security & Business Continuity:
Take personal responsibility for safety, follow HSE policies, report hazards, and avoid misuse of workplace resources to ensure a safe work environment.

Qualifications:
Minimum: Bachelor’s Degree, 3 years relevant experience
Maximum: Experience in energy or construction projects is highly desirable; governmental experience preferred
