Job summary

Accor is seeking a Fitness Attendant to lead guest fitness activities and promote healthy living at our Dubai property. The role involves engaging guests, guiding dynamic workouts, and supporting wellness initiatives across the resort.

You will coordinate equipment maintenance, ensure safety standards, and contribute ideas for new fitness experiences that enhance guest engagement and satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Internationally recognized personal training certification.
• Minimum of 1 year experience in a similar position, preferably in hospitality.
• Excellent communication skills, enthusiasm, and passion for health and wellness.
• Ability to engage and motivate guests of all ages through dynamic instruction.

Responsibilities

• Ensure all dealings with guests at the Fitness areas meet or exceed operating standards.
• Ensure health and safety of guests and employees at all times.
• Coordinate and facilitate sports and recreational activities.
• Interact with guests in a friendly manner, promoting physical activity and wellness.
• Collaborate with the team to plan and execute special events, wellness initiatives, and programming.
• Maintain inventories of operating equipment and manage costs.
• Ensure safety and confidentiality for guests and colleagues.
• Maintain fitness/gym equipment in good working condition.
• Inspect, maintain, and sanitize fitness equipment and activity areas.

Job Description

• Ensure all dealings with guests at the Fitness areas meet or exceed the resort operating standards.
• Ensure the health and safety of guests and employees are paramount at all times.
• Coordinate and facilitate sports and recreational activities.
• Interact with guests in a friendly and approachable manner, promoting the benefits of physical activity and healthy living.
• Collaborate with the team to plan and execute special events, themed fitness programs, or wellness initiatives. Contribute ideas for new attractions or experiences that promote physical activity and guest engagement.
• Ensure proper inventories of all operating equipment are conducted in line with audit standards to effectively manage operational costs.
• Ensure that the department follows safety and maintains confidentiality for all guests and colleagues at all times.
• Ensure all Fitness / Gym equipment is maintained in good working condition at all times.
• Inspect, maintain, and sanitize fitness equipment, sports gear, and activity areas to ensure cleanliness, functionality, and safety.
