Job Description:

INK Contracting is seeking an experienced and highly motivated Technical Services Manager & Business Developer to take ownership of our new Technical Services division. This dual-role position requires a blend of business development skills to secure new projects and technical expertise to execute and manage service delivery. The individual will drive growth in fit-out and construction maintenance services, including AC repairs, tiling, painting, fixture installations, and general building maintenance, while also performing hands-on work.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Business Development & Growth: Identify new opportunities in the technical services market (fit-out, construction maintenance, AC repair, etc.), acquire new clients, and secure contracts across commercial, residential, and industrial sectors.
  2. Sales & Proposals: Develop tailored proposals, bids, and quotations, negotiate terms, and close deals.
  3. Client Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong client relationships, ensuring technical needs are met with excellent service.
  4. Hands-On Execution: Perform technical work including installation, repair, and maintenance of building systems like HVAC, tiling, painting, plumbing, and electrical systems.
  5. Project Management: Oversee project execution, ensuring timely, within-budget completion to high standards, and coordinate resources.
  6. Site Visits & Assessments: Conduct site assessments, provide technical solutions for building system issues.
  7. Team Leadership & Support: Lead technicians, provide guidance, and ensure safety and efficiency.
  8. Market Research & Strategy: Stay updated on industry trends, develop strategies to position the division as a market leader.
  9. Reporting & Performance Tracking: Track metrics, report progress, and update senior management.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
  • Degree or diploma in Engineering, Construction Management, or related field.
  • Minimum 5 years in a technical services role, with experience in fit-out, construction, or facilities management sectors.
  • Hands-on experience with building maintenance, including HVAC, tiling, painting, electrical, plumbing, and general construction.
  • Proven business development success: acquiring clients, proposals, negotiations.
  • Strong problem-solving, project management, and customer service skills.
  • Leadership ability to motivate and guide technicians.
  • Valid UAE driving license; willingness to conduct site visits.
  • Fluency in English; Arabic is a plus.
