Job Purpose To coordinate with the Captain directly responsible for customer comfort while ensuring the safe conduct of flights to which they are assigned.

Responsibilities

• Carry out duties concerning the flight in accordance with Company Standard Operating Procedures, including procedures, limitations, and performance relating to the specific aircraft type, as allocated by the Commander.
• Confirm safe navigation of the aircraft by maintaining a continuous and independent check on geographical position and terrain clearance.
• Provide advice, information, and assistance to the Commander to contribute to the safe and efficient conduct of the flight.
• Seek and receive information and explanations from the Commander as needed.
• Maintain high standards of discipline, conduct, and appearance as a representative of the Company.
• Support the Commander in developing and maintaining high professional standards and morale among the crew.
• Familiarize with relevant UAE and International air legislation, aviation practices, and procedures.
• Be familiar with the Company Operations manual provisions necessary for the role.
• Assist the Commander with administrative duties related to the flight as requested.
• Support the Commander in maintaining crew discipline, conduct, and appearance standards.

• Accident and violation-free flying record
• Airline Transport Pilot License acceptable to GCAA
• Successful completion of the Command Course

• Valid Recurrent Checks
• Valid Class 1 Medical
• Familiarity with UAE and International air legislation and aviation practices
