Position Overview
This position works out of our UAE location in the Abbott Nutrition Division.
About Nutrition Division
Our nutrition business develops science-based nutrition products for people of all ages, from helping babies and children grow, to keeping adult bodies strong and active. Popular brands include Similac, PediaSure, Pedialyte, Ensure, Glucerna, and ZonePerfect.
As First Line Manager, you'll contribute to the long-term growth of Abbott Nutrition products by increasing awareness among Healthcare Professionals (HCPs) on the importance of nutrition and the superiority of Abbott products over competitors.
You will:
- Gain new business and grow existing business through a customer engagement strategy that builds HCP confidence and loyalty.
- Develop and sustain the knowledge, customer engagement skills, and business acumen of Medical reps to build a high-performing, ethical sales team.
- Develop Key Opinion Leader (KOL) relationships to promote the Abbott brand and influence perceptions among HCPs.
Responsibilities
- Enable the ethical field force to meet regional and team KPIs.
- Analyze market opportunities using real-time omnichannel business intelligence to identify growth opportunities.
- Leverage business analytics and customer insights to create an omnichannel engagement strategy.
- Develop and support account plans using an integrated customer engagement approach.
- Deploy marketing programs targeting customers through Medical Reps, including education and impact tracking.
- Provide coaching and feedback to Medical Reps on customer engagement.
- Mentor Medical Reps to enhance digital knowledge and application.
- Build and maintain relationships with customers across digital, virtual, and face-to-face channels.
- Collaborate with training and SFE teams to optimize team performance and develop individual capabilities.
- Support Medical Reps in the field through problem-solving, mentoring, and feedback.
- Expand the network of KOLs throughout the territory.
- Work cross-functionally with Marketing, Analytics, and SFE to interpret data and translate insights into activities.
- Demonstrate ethical behavior, integrity, and transparency, aligning with compliance and regulatory standards.

Minimum Qualifications
- 3-5 years in a similar Sales Manager role within the Pharmaceutical or Nutrition segment in UAE (Dubai or Abu Dhabi).
- Proven sales track record.
- Experience in developing forecasts and strategies.
- People management experience is mandatory.
