Qualifications

  • 3-5 Jahre Erfahrung als Sales Manager im Pharma- oder Ernährungssegment in den VAE.
  • Nachweisliche Erfolge im Vertrieb und in der Entwicklung von Verkaufsstrategien.

Position: First Line Manager

This position works out of our UAE location in the Abbott Nutrition Division.

About Nutrition Division

Our nutrition business develops science-based nutrition products for people of all ages, from helping babies and children grow, to keeping adult bodies strong and active. As First Line Manager, you'll contribute to the long-term growth of Abbott Nutrition products in the territory by increasing awareness among Healthcare Professionals (HCPs) on the important role of nutrition in improving quality of life, and the superiority of Abbott products over competitors.

You will gain new business and grow existing business through an omnichannel, customer engagement strategy that builds HCP confidence in and loyalty to Abbott brand products.

Develop and sustain the knowledge, customer engagement skills, and business acumen of Medical reps to build a high-performing, ethical sales team.

Develop Key Opinion Leader (KOL) relationships to promote the Abbott brand and influence the perception of Abbott products among HCPs across all specialties and levels.

Responsibilities include:

  • Enabling the ethical field force to meet regional and team KPIs.
  • Analyzing market, category, and channel opportunities within the territory using real-time omnichannel business intelligence to identify growth opportunities.
  • Leveraging business analytics and customer insights to create an omnichannel engagement strategy to establish Abbott as the brand of choice.
  • Developing and supporting the execution of account plans using an integrated customer omnichannel engagement strategy.
  • Deploying marketing programs targeting customers and accounts via Medical Reps, including education, execution, and tracking impact.
  • Providing real-time coaching and feedback to Medical Reps on customer engagement.
  • Accelerating digital knowledge and application among Medical Reps through mentoring and coaching.
  • Building and maintaining relationships with customers across digital, remote, virtual, and face-to-face channels to increase awareness and loyalty.
  • Collaborating with training/SFE teams to optimize team performance by identifying and addressing knowledge and skill gaps, and creating individual development plans.
  • Supporting Medical Reps in the field through problem-solving, mentoring, coaching, and feedback.
  • Developing and expanding a network of KOLs throughout the territory to influence at all account levels.
  • Working cross-functionally with Marketing, Analytics, and SFE to interpret customer and market data and translate omnichannel engagement data into actionable activities.
  • Demonstrating integrity and transparency by role-modeling ethical behavior.
  • Ensuring compliance with regulatory expectations.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • 3-5 years of experience as a Sales Manager in the Pharmaceutical or Nutrition segment in UAE (Dubai or Abu Dhabi).
  • Proven sales track record.
  • Experience in developing forecasts and strategies to achieve sales goals.
  • People management experience is mandatory.
