Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site Firefighter role based in Abu Dhabi Emirate, United Arab Emirates. The Firefighter will respond to fire, rescue, and emergency incidents, perform firefighting and suppression activities, and carry out search and rescue operations as required. Daily responsibilities include inspecting and maintaining firefighting equipment and fire trucks, participating in drills and training exercises, and supporting control room and fire station operations. The role also involves implementing HSE procedures, assisting with incident prevention activities, and completing accurate reports and documentation after emergency responses. The Firefighter will work as part of a coordinated team, following established protocols and maintaining readiness for 24/7 operations.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated firefighting experience, including fire suppression, rescue operations, and use of firefighting equipment.
• Knowledge of HSE standards, emergency response procedures, and incident management practices.
• Experience with fire station routines, control room operations, and fire truck operation and maintenance.
• Ability to work safely in high-risk, industrial or critical infrastructure environments.
• Relevant firefighting, emergency response, or civil defense certification; additional HSE qualifications are an advantage.
• Good physical fitness, ability to meet required medical and fitness standards, and willingness to work shifts, weekends, and nights.
• Strong teamwork, communication, and situational awareness skills, with the ability to follow instructions under pressure.
• Familiarity with basic electrical safety and technical support activities is a plus.
• Previous experience in the United Arab Emirates or GCC region, and proficiency in English; Arabic language skills are beneficial.
