Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field with knowledge of structural design.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in project engineering for fire-rated systems.
• PMP or CAPM certification preferred.
• Proven knowledge of fire-rated building materials and relevant fire safety codes and standards.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills; ability to address complex project challenges.
• Willingness to conduct on-site inspections across construction sites.

Responsibilities

• Supervise the design and installation of fire-rated steel doors, ensuring compliance with local building codes and fire safety regulations.
• Perform detailed site assessments to determine feasibility and project requirements for fire-rated door installations.
• Collaborate with architects and contractors to integrate fire-rated doors into designs, balancing safety, functionality and aesthetics.
• Develop, review, and manage project documentation including specifications, drawings, and schedules.
• Monitor project timelines and budgets, identify risks, and implement solutions to keep projects on track.
• Liaise with suppliers and manufacturers to source fire-rated steel doors and components.
• Coordinate communication among clients, contractors, and regulatory agencies to maintain alignment and compliance.
• Prepare and deliver progress reports and presentations highlighting milestones to stakeholders.
