Job summary

Caliberly in Dubai, UAE, seeks a hands-on Service & Maintenance Technician to inspect, troubleshoot, and service fire pump systems. You will work on electric motor-driven and diesel engine-driven pumps, jockey pumps, controllers, and packaged systems, ensuring reliable operation and safety.

You’ll perform preventive maintenance, fault diagnosis, testing, and record-keeping, coordinating with service engineers and customers to resolve issues in line with NFPA 20/25, UL/FM, and UAE standards.

Qualifications

• Diploma or technical certificate in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics or related.
• Experience in fire pump systems is preferred.
• Strong fault diagnosis and testing capabilities required.
• Familiarity with NFPA 20, NFPA 25 and UAE standards is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Inspect and maintain fire pump systems, including motors, pumps, and controllers.
• Diagnose mechanical and electrical faults and perform repairs or part replacements.
• Record maintenance activity and test results and report to service supervisor.
• Coordinate with service engineers and customers for timely issue resolution.
• Ensure on-site safety and compliance with procedures and standards.
