Job Description

The Engineers will work within the Company as the Fire Life Safety Team covering all stages of the Design, Construction Supervision & Facility Management as required by UAE Fire and Life Safety Code of Practice, 2018 Edition (UFC), Civil Defense (CD) and the applicable NFPA requirements.

Technical Scope of Services

1. To review, prepare, inspect and verify/approve all Design drawings and Construction Activities, Site Situations & Operational Facilities related to Fire and Life Safety requirements.
2. To prepare a Fire Strategy Report for Design Phase in the format required by the Civil Defense and UAE fire code Authority (ADCD) outlining requirements for the following (but not limited to):
   1. Applicable codes and standards
   2. Construction type and structural fire resistance
   3. Means of egress and occupant load
   4. Standpipe and hose systems
   5. Fire detection and alarm systems
   6. Special fire and life safety features
