Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Fire Protection Engineering or related technical field.
• Minimum 3 years’ experience in fire protection system design within construction, building services or consultancy.
• Proficiency with AutoCAD, Revit and relevant fire safety codes.

Responsibilities

• Produce detailed fire protection system designs, including layouts and hydraulic calculations for sprinklers, alarms, and hydrants.
• Interpret client requirements and codes to develop compliant, cost-effective fire protection solutions.
• Collaborate with clients, consultants, architects and contractors to ensure alignment and timely delivery.
• Prepare technical documentation, design reports, datasheets, BOMs, and authority submissions.
• Support project managers during procurement, construction, and commissioning phases.
• Conduct design reviews and site visits to verify installation quality and design intent.
• Stay updated on NFPA, BS, EN, and other relevant standards to drive improvement and innovation.
