The InterContinental Hotels Group at Dubai Festival City consists of four hotels, including the luxury InterContinental, the long-stay InterContinental Residence Suites, the premium Crowne Plaza, and the essentials Holiday Inn & Suites. The complex features over 1,600 rooms, 16 restaurants and bars, a 3,800-square-metre Event Centre, the Festival Arena by InterContinental, Spa InterContinental, and state-of-the-art gym and swimming pool facilities. We are looking for friendly, welcoming, and energetic individuals to join our team of over 1,200 colleagues who are dedicated to providing exceptional guest experiences.

A little taste of your day-to-day:

1. Collaborate with AMC contractors for preventive and corrective maintenance.
2. Maintain hotel facilities to the desired standards within your trade expertise.
3. Complete work orders as directed by the Chief Engineer to meet customer needs.
4. Identify and initiate improvements for FLS issues throughout the hotel.
5. Implement and oversee the preventative maintenance program.
6. Be flexible with work schedules to prioritize guest satisfaction.
7. Ensure plant rooms are checked, cleaned, and operational.
8. Respond promptly to maintenance requests from departments.
9. Conduct lighting checks and replace faulty globes.
10. Carry out minor repairs in guest rooms and public areas.
11. Liaise with departments to prioritize work orders based on guest satisfaction.

What we need from you:

• Basic knowledge of low voltage systems.
• Experience with Fire Alarm System networks, ELV systems such as EBS, PA systems, CCTV, and ANPR.
• Experience with Fire Fighting Systems, Kitchen Hood Ansul systems, LPG monitoring systems.
• Knowledge of Dubai Municipality and Dubai Civil Defence regulations (preferred).
• At least 2 years of experience in a similar role within a 4- or 5-star property.
