Qualifications

Job description

Job Responsibilities

• Work with AMC contractors to carry out preventive & corrective maintenance.
• Maintain the hotel in your qualified trade to the desired standard.
• Complete work orders as requested by the Chief Engineer to meet customer requirements.
• Initiate/identify improvement work required throughout the hotel for FLS issues.
• Implement and action the preventative maintenance program.
• Demonstrate flexibility in changing the work schedule considering guest priorities.
• Perform general building minor maintenance repairs.
• Ensure plant rooms are checked, cleaned, and in operating order.
• Respond to requests from departments regarding minor maintenance issues throughout the day.
• Conduct lighting checks to ensure all globes are in working order.
• Carry out minor repairs to guest rooms or public areas.
• Liaise directly with departments regarding work order completion and prioritize based on guest satisfaction.

Qualifications

What we need from you:

• Basic knowledge of low voltage systems.
• Experience with Fire Alarm System networks/ELV systems such as EBS, PA system, CCTV, ANPR, etc.
• Experience with Fire Fighting System networks, Kitchen hood Ansul system, LPG monitoring system.
• Knowledge of Dubai Municipality and Dubai Civil Defence regulations (optional).
• At least 2 years of previous experience in a similar role within a 4*-5* property.
• Fire Life Safety Technician - Engineering qualification.
