Job summary

NAFFCO is seeking a detail-oriented Submittal Engineer – Fire & Life Safety Systems to prepare, review, and manage technical submittals for Fire & Life Safety projects. The successful candidate will ensure submittals comply with project specifications, applicable codes, client requirements, and regulatory standards while coordinating with internal teams and consultants to obtain timely approvals.

Qualifications

• Detail-oriented submittal engineer for Fire & Life Safety systems.
• Experience in preparing and reviewing submittals and coordinating with clients/consultants.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and submit technical submittals for Fire & Life Safety Systems, ensuring completeness and accuracy.
• Review project specs, drawings, and BOQs for client compliance.
• Compile datasheets, catalogs, certificates, and documentation for approvals.
• Ensure submittals meet NFPA 72, NFPA 101, IEC, UL and local regs.
• Coordinate with procurement, engineering, and project teams to resolve queries.
